The BMW M3 Performance Air Intake by Dinan (Carbon Fiber, 2015-2018) is a sealed cold-air system for the S55 that cuts restriction and supplies cooler outside air. Its carbon construction adds strength, heat resistance, and a purposeful underhood look.

Engineered around the factory layout, it employs an optimized carbon fiber tube feeding dual, larger-volume sealed airboxes and oversized cylindrical filters. Airflow is straighter and freer flowing for sharper throttle response and a deeper, sportier tone. A larger MAF housing and exact fitment support reliable metering and straightforward, bolt-on installation. With appropriate Dinan engine tuning, testing shows gains of up to +14 hp at 6000 rpm and +21 lb-ft at 3000 rpm.
