Chevrolet Silverado Transmission and Converter Package - BD Diesel - Duramax Allison - '07-'10. This Stage 5 package pairs a BD-built Allison 1000 automatic with a triple-disc converter for 2007-2010 LMM 4WD applications.

Built as a matched set and dyno tested together, this package includes BD's aluminum HD deep pan for added case strength and approximately 3.5 qt of extra capacity. The enhanced-stall converter suits street/towing use, while a billet input shaft helps absorb rapid throttle events. A double-cage stator sprag and self-centering trapezoid teeth address wear and common OE stator issues. High energy GPZ frictions, increased clutch counts, revised oil circuits, A & B trim valves for full line pressure, a converter lock-up boost valve, furnace-brazed turbine fins, and thrust bearings (not plastic washers) support consistent operation and durability. Reduced overall weight by about 12 lb compared to some competitors.
