Clutch Masters Flywheel Friction Lock for 2000-2002 Audi S4 is a precision friction shim engineered to secure the flywheel interface. Ideal for enthusiasts seeking dependable torque transfer and added crankshaft protection.

Developed with 3M friction-shim technology, this FFL uses a nickel-coated steel substrate with partially embedded diamond particles. Installed between the crank and flywheel, the micro-diamonds bite into both faces to increase surface grip without affecting stack height; installed thickness is 0.006–0.009 in. This helps keep the flywheel from loosening and adds a hard barrier that can protect the crank if movement occurs. It assembles easily, and can be reused after disassembly. Proven to handle up to 5× higher shear forces and transmit up to 5× higher torque than conventional interfaces, with no other modifications.
