Ford Flex Performance Air Intake - AIRAID Cold Air Dam (CAD) - 2010–2019. This AIRAID CAD system replaces the restrictive factory inlet with a larger, open-element intake and cold air dam panels designed to feed cooler outside air to your engine while maintaining the factory filter location.
The CAD kit mounts in the stock air box area and works with existing cold air inlet ducts, adding extra passages to draw colder air and shielding the filter from hot engine-bay air. Blade-style weather stripping seals the panels to the underside of the hood to help isolate intake air. The system includes a replacement low-restriction intake tube and a 360-degree conical AIRAID premium air filter that is washable and reusable, offering less restriction than paper elements. Installation is straightforward with common hand tools and is aimed at owners running the 3.5L V6 applications from model years 2010–2019.
