BMW M4 Charge-Air-Cooler - Top Mount - CSF - Raw Aluminum - `14-`27. A direct-fit, top-mount liquid-to-air charge-air-cooler for S55-powered F8X cars, built in raw aluminum for reliable performance.
Developed to combat the S55’s heat soak, CSF’s top mount features a core that is 60% larger than stock to increase heat transfer and help stabilize intake air temperatures during repeated pulls and track sessions. Left/right, cross-flow, dual-pass water circuitry and multiple air dividers inside the cast end tanks direct charge air evenly through the CFD-validated core. Designed with 3D scanning and rapid prototyping, it installs in the OEM location with OEM-style quick-connect water fittings and factory sensor ports. Pairs effectively with CSF’s front mount heat exchanger for a comprehensive cooling package.
