Forged from domestic 2618 alloy, these pistons use cam and barrel skirt profiles to control friction and protect cylinder walls. Tight ring lands and grooves help maintain a reliable seal, and Manley’s unique fixturing machines skirts and ring grooves in one operation for precise ring-to-skirt squareness. Platinum Series pistons include tool steel wrist pins, with moly skirt coatings on select part numbers; wrist pin upgrades are available on specific SKUs.
