The V3 2.0 system employs Controlled Flexion Areas® with an intelligent protection design so sliders deform in targeted zones, aiding bike preservation during an impact. CNC precision-cut 2017 aluminum bases are anodized matte black for corrosion resistance, and molded impact pucks use a proprietary energy-absorbing compound. This model-specific kit fits 2013–2022 FZ-07/MT-07, requires no extra parts, and includes detailed assembly instructions. Vortex recommends installation by a certified motorcycle mechanic.
