The manufacturer uses high quality PPG clear coat and guarantees the finish to last a minimum of one year from the time of purchase. Applying a good quality paste wax or ceramic coating can drastically increase the life of the clear coat. We have had carbon from this manufacturer on our own vehicles for many years and with a bi monthly application of a good wax the finish has remained in like new condition many years later. Some of the items have been on our vehicles for over 5 years with zero degradation of finish.
