Volkswagen Golf R Brake Rotor (1) - Front - DBA - 4000 Series XD Drilled - `12-`13. This front rotor is a direct-fit DBA 4000 Series XD drilled and dimpled disc engineered for the 2012–2013 Golf R, designed to improve heat control and repeatable braking under spirited driving.

The 4000 Series XD pairs DBA's non-directional cross-drilled and dimpled face with an XD finish for additional cooling over the HD spec. Cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and processed with Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP), these rotors are built to withstand repeated high-stress braking. DBA's Kangaroo Paw ventilation uses 144 diamond and teardrop pillars to increase surface area and aid heat dissipation, and the XD mix of dimples and drilled holes offers enhanced structural support compared to older cross-drilled techniques. For higher-performance setups, DBA recommends pairing these rotors with a T3 slot when selecting pads.
