This DBA 4000 Series HD plain rotor is cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and undergoes Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to better withstand repeated high-temperature use. The rotor uses DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation with 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars to increase surface area and improve cooling efficiency versus traditional straight-vane designs.
