Mazda Mazdaspeed6 Brake Rotor (1) - Front - DBA - 4000 Series Plain Rotor - 06-07. A direct replacement front rotor engineered by Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) for 2006–2007 Mazdaspeed6 owners who want improved thermal handling and a smooth OE-style finish.
This DBA 4000 Series HD plain rotor is cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and undergoes Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to better withstand repeated high-temperature use. The rotor uses DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation with 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars to increase surface area and improve cooling efficiency versus traditional straight-vane designs. The HD variant provides the proven performance characteristics of the 4000 Series while keeping a smooth, OE-style rotor face favored in controlled race divisions and street applications. It includes THGP (thermo-graphic paint) markings and arrives in moisture-proof corrosion protection packaging.
