Mazda Miata Brake Rotor (1) - Front - DBA - 4000 Series HD Plain - `01-`05 is a direct-fit front brake rotor for 2001–2005 Miata models. It provides a smooth OE-style finish while using DBA’s proven materials and design to handle repeated heavy braking.
Cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and processed with Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP), this 4000 Series HD rotor is built to resist thermal distortion and maintain stable braking performance under demanding conditions. DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation features 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars that increase surface area and help dissipate heat more effectively than conventional straight-vane rotors. The HD plain rotor keeps an OEM look favored in controlled race divisions or for enthusiasts who prefer an understated appearance, and rotors are shipped with THGP thermographic paint markings and moisture-proof corrosion protection packaging.
