Volkswagen Golf R Brake Rotor (2) - Front - DBA 5000 Series Slotted (’12–’13). A pair of front DBA 5000 Series slotted replacement rings designed for the 2012–2013 Golf R, built as a two-piece composite rotor to improve cooling and reduce rotating mass compared with a one-piece disc.

The DBA 5000 Series combines high-carbon cast-iron rings with aerospace-grade T6061-T6 aluminum hats secured with National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts. This two-piece approach improves heat management and allows the cast iron ring to expand uniformly while the aluminum hat reduces unsprung weight and limits heat transfer to the hub. The T3 bi-directional slot pattern helps clear pads and gases for consistent bite during spirited street driving, track days or club events. These rings are offered as replacement disc rings for use with compatible DBA 5000 Series hats or as part of a full assembly when available.
