These DBA 5000 Series front rotors are a direct-fit, two-piece replacement designed for 2012–2013 Golf R owners who want improved cooling, reduced weight, and track-capable performance without changing stock mounting hardware.

The 5000 Series combines high-carbon cast-iron rings with aerospace-grade T6061-T6 aluminum hats, fastened with National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts. The composite two-piece construction reduces unsprung weight while allowing uniform radial expansion of the cast-iron ring and limiting heat transfer to the hub. The XD drilled and dimpled pattern aids gas and water evacuation and provides improved cooling compared to heavier finishes. DBA offers complete assemblies or replacement rings and hats, allowing reuse of 5000 Series hats with replacement rings when desired. Recommended for high-performance street driving, track days, club racing and rally applications.
