GMC Sierra Transfer Case Brace - Wehrli - Sparkle Granny Smith - '07-'10. Built for 2007.5-2010 Duramax LMM trucks with the Allison transmission, this brace adds targeted support between the transmission and transfer case.
Developed and tested on high horsepower applications, the Wehrli brace reduces driveline flex often seen in off-roading, pulling, and drag racing. By spreading transfer case loads into the transmission center section, it helps deter cracked tail housings, fluid leaks, and costly damage triggered by vibrations from a failing u-joint or driveshaft. A fabricated tubular steel support links the rear housing of the Allison to the transfer case and installs with basic hand tools using existing OEM fasteners. No removal of the transmission or transfer case is required, and the Sparkle Granny Smith single-stage powder coat provides a durable custom finish.
