Add some visual details to your smart with this custom puddle/ welcome light kit.

As you open the door of your car the lights turn on and project down the Mercedes logo. Typically mounted on the underneath and inside of the drivers and passenger doors. The kit comes with the lights and also with a specific drill bit extention to make the installation easier.

You should position these lights on the bottom of the driver and passenger doors. A hole is typically cut in the bottom of the door panels and the lights are inserted inside the openings created. They are then wired to the dome light output allowing them to turn on when you open up either one of the doors. 

You typically position these projectors to project the lighted logo on to the ground. These can also be mounted internally and be positioned to project the logo just about anywhere you choose.
