The installation of the ECU was simple and quick. I have driven the car approximately 75 miles over two days. The following is what I have noticed with the new Madness ECU over the stock version.
1. Cold start idle is much smoother.
2. The basic idle is smoother and the exhaust note is not as " raspy".
3. The drone at 65 mph seems to have gone away. I have the race exhaust.
4. The "jerky" throttle response in 1st and 2nd gears in normal and dynamic is gone.
5. The engine delivers a very noticeable increase in hp throughout the power curve.
6. I am very pleased with the ECU and recommend it. You will not believe the results.

I swapped out the ECU over the weekend. I have to tell you I am very impressed. I have read many post that mention this is how the car should have come from the factory and I have to agree. I am still getting to know the tune but have been able to put about 100 miles on it. In general things just seem much more buttoned up and smooth. The power delivery is nice and linear just as you mentioned. The car seemed to have a rough idle from the factory and that is also ironed out. I can notice no difference to the oil or water temps and the install was simple just as you outlined. This tune really makes the car much more enjoyable…it simply hauls ass.
