Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG Performance Air Intake - Mishimoto - Cold Air, Race Kit - Black - `14-`19 is a complete bolt-on intake engineered specifically for the 2014–2019 CLA45 AMG. It replaces restrictive factory components with a silicone turbo inlet, enclosed airbox and a high-flow Mishimoto oiled filter to improve airflow and provide a more aggressive induction tone.
This Mishimoto kit features a co-molded CNC block in the silicone turbo inlet hose to retain stock sensor and breather port locations while offering smoother internal transitions than the factory rubber hose. The intake uses the stock front duct to deliver cooler outside air to the Mishimoto 4-inch high-flow oiled filter (rated up to 2,000 CFM), and the enclosed 5052 aluminum airbox with black powder-coat helps reduce weight and protect against engine bay heat soak. Dyno-proven gains of 20 whp and 17 wtq at 5900 RPM were recorded on the stock tune, and the intake is designed to operate safely without altering air/fuel ratios under load. The free-flowing design also amplifies turbocharger spool and BPV sounds for a sportier driving experience. Installation is a straightforward one-hour job using common hand tools and the kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
