This MagnaFlow direct-fit catalytic converter (part #4481542) is engineered specifically for 2001–2003 PT Cruiser 2.4L applications to replace the OE unit while meeting CARB requirements when applicable.

Designed using MagnaFlow’s 3D metrology and OE-matching spun body design, this converter replicates original fit and flow characteristics to help maintain factory performance and fuel economy. The unit features mandrel-bent tubing and a high-strength stainless construction to resist corrosion. A single laser fusion weld on the spun body reduces potential leak points, and the compact, low-mass design improves thermal efficiency. It installs without cutting or welding using the included gaskets and hardware, simplifying replacement while preserving exhaust integrity. This direct-fit part interchanges with OE numbers 5085 658AB and 5085 905AC and is supplied to meet California-grade emissions standards where the converter’s CARB Executive Order and vehicle EO/EFN match.
