BMW Z4 Performance Heat Exchanger by Mishimoto (MMHE-SUP-20) is a purpose-built upgrade for controlling charge temps on the 2019+ BMW Z4 3.0L and 2020+ Toyota GR Supra 3.0L. It’s engineered for the B58 platform to improve cooling consistency during spirited driving and track sessions.
The factory air-to-water system is efficient, but the stock heat exchanger can struggle under sustained load. Mishimoto answers with a larger, more capable core and added protection. Expect a measured 5–7°F intake air temperature reduction versus stock, plus a durable galvanized steel stone guard to shield the fins. A 31 percent increase in core volume helps manage heat soak and maintain performance run after run.
