Machined from thick billet stainless steel, this insert resists the permanent deformation seen with rubber, polyurethane, and even aluminum pieces. By filling the voids in the factory subframe mount, it limits drivetrain movement to help curb wheel-hop and torque steer, delivering a more direct feel without excessive vibration or noise. APR offers two configurations; this listing is for the early MQB (V1) style. Please verify your subframe mount before ordering, and replace the one-time-use factory subframe bolt during installation.
